What to expect

Please see the Home Page for details of upcoming services.  We hold Sunday services, which last one hour, from  early September to mid June at 10:00AM.

During the summer months, our abbreviated services, which last one half hour, are also at 10:00AM.

Just before the service is a busy time with parents taking children to their church school classes, members greeting newcomers and old friends. A Tibetan chime signals the  beginning of the service. We share the lighting of the chalice (a Unitarian Universalist symbol), announcements, music,  readings, joys and concerns,  meditation,  sermons, discussions, and more.

Services are filled with a variety of music. Hymns are sung by the congregation, usually accompanied by piano. Instrumental and vocal music -classical, traditional folk and pop, is frequently heard.

Monthly art exhibits feature local established and emerging artists in the church’s Social Hall.

After the service, church members, friends, and visitors gather in our Social  Hall for fellowship during coffee hour.

Audio recordings from recent services are available here.
